Fine Structure of the Retinal Vascular System

Abstract
|
|
|
Recent advanced information on the finer structures of vascular system after electron microscopical studies of human retina is reviewed.
Introduction of distribution of the retinal vessels includes outline of the radial peripapillary capillaries.
Characteristics and detailed features of retinal arteries, veins, and capillaries in the electron microscopy are described in connection with the various cellular components of adjacent retinal tissue.
